I AM SUPER VEGETA

I AM SUPER VEGETA

Terrorking

“But you’re just Vegeta”

“No, I’m Super Vegeta”

That line has no right to sound cool.

Carly Nagisa

So is this the part where we get a spin off where Vegeta is a superhero but still a total dick?

GO BACK TO MAAAAAAARS

Terrorking

A space battle of robots should not be so boring. This was boring.

Carly Nagisa

And to think this only gets worse later.

Rob Lucci

Gundams are usually interesting on some level by this point. It’s not, though.

Dat hair

Terrorking

Oh, her face isn’t as crazy as you might’ve thought.

Carly Nagisa

But those eyes are clearly satanic or at least unnatural.

Rob Lucci

Those eyebrows though.

LeOreo Ascends from a grope

Terrorking

Leorio sold out his friends for tits and cooch that might be suffering from vagitosis due to the prisoners looking shabby and dirty. Bros before hoes, oreo.

Carly Nagisa

Leorio, you may be my favorite but you were certainly holding the idiot ball. I’m glad that Gon was a big part of you losing the entire thing thing but you could easily get any kind of girl you want with your charms. You don’t need to lower yourself.

Rob Lucci

“What is it worth it?!”

have this back m8

Terrorking

I like how they made this guy as vile as possible so that we wouldn’t feel bad when Killua kills him.

Carly Nagisa

Nothing personal…..kid.

Rob Lucci

Killua oneshotting him was pretty expected based on what we’ve seen from him so far, so I feel like all that buildup was… eh. Still a good episode, but it was padded a bit.

Samurai that smells of sunflowers

Terrorking

So all show they built up this guy, and then when we get to him he’s already on his deathbed. Not what you’d expect, but hey, that’s Watanabe for you.

Carly Nagisa

With how this show has been going, you would have originally thought the guy with the beard was Fuu’s dad. But Watanabe gotta always pull the rug from your feet and then beat you with it until you get the realization.

Rob Lucci

You know, I really thought the samurai dude at the pier would be the Sunflower samurai since it would’ve been just as unlikely to randomly meet him, but this is clever enough and gives a solid sense of tension to the episode.

Jin, a hero

Terrorking

My first thought was “Hey, he looks like Samurai Jack when he lets his hair down”.

Carly Nagisa

Best Jin is back to kick some ass and save bitches and he’s all out of bitches.

Rob Lucci

Jin is 10/10 hero.

Mugen can’t catch a break

Terrorking

I like how the show made you think Mugen and Jin were gonna die. I didn’t actually buy it though because this really didn’t seem like the type of show to kil off its main characters. The journey wasn’t profound enough and delved into silly hijinks more often than not, so that wouldn’t have worked. Compare their journey to a show like Michiko and Hatchin and the difference is stark. An ending where Michiko dies is more fitting for her show than an ending where Mugen and Jin dies for theirs.

Carly Nagisa

You know when I first saw this, I was kind of convinced that they would die given how Cowboy Bebop ended. That would have surely suck so I’m glad these two numbskulls manage to survive. It would have brought down the show and probably ruin all the feels that it managed to generate already.

Rob Lucci

I’m surprised everybody lived by the end lol

2016-07-10 (6).png

“We really suck, don’t we?”

Terrorking

These two should just make out already. They’ll never fight to the death.

Carly Nagisa

Even god doesn’t want these two to kill one another.

Rob Lucci

Unlike M&H where the inevitable conclusion felt overly drawn out, they dedicate all of like twenty seconds of these two fighting followed quickly by them realizing how dumb they are. Vastly prefer this style, it reinforces they were friends all along without drilling it a ton.

The End

Terrorking

Instead of double-teaming Fu, the show just kinda ends. I liked it a lot. Over the past decade I somehow always missed this final episode, so it’s my first time seeing it. Glad I missed it the first bajillion and one times adultswim aired it.

Carly Nagisa

You know they could just continue their journey together as friends. Cause all signs point to Fuu dying within a week by herself, Mugan getting arrested again or dying in a gutter. Honestly, only Jin seem like the most likely to live a full life without any problems. Still, there’s worst ways to end a show.

Rob Lucci

This was a great ending that services its often episodic nature pretty well. The fact we’re left off knowing they’re sure to see more adventures couldn’t be more appropriate, as there are numerous episodes that show episodic/secondary characters with similar goodbyes. Only fitting the show ends the same way for the main characters.

OHHH SASUKE YOU’RE INCREDIBLE

Rob Lucci

it’s bad

Carly Nagisa

Fuck this show, I rather go back to Attack on Titan.

Oz escapes

Rob Lucci

I didn’t watch this because GDQ was more compelling.

Carly Nagisa

Something something Toei bad padding.
